How I Can Help
Do you have an issue you need help with?
My team and I are here to provide confidential support for residents of the Newbury constituency.
If you live outside of my constituency, I am unfortunately not able to assist with your case.

There are several ways you can get in touch:
The quickest way to get support is by email. Please complete this form with details of your case.
Phone
Call 01635 243510 from Monday-Friday between 9 am and 5 pm to speak to a member of my team.
Post
You are welcome to send a letter to my constituency office, at Park St, Newbury RG14 1EA. Note this may result in a slower response time.
I also host regular surgery sessions in my office, which you are welcome to attend by appointment. Please start by getting in touch via one of the methods above, so my team can determine the best course of action.
I can often assist with:
-
Problems with government departments such as the Home Office, HMRC, DWP, DVLA, or the NHS.
-
Benefits, pensions, and welfare concerns, including delays, appeals, or communication breakdowns.
-
Immigration, visas, and passport issues where you need help getting a response or clarity from the relevant department.
-
Housing matters involving local authorities or social housing providers.
-
Community projects and local initiatives, including letters of support or guidance on navigating government processes.
-
Raising local issues in Parliament when a problem affects many people in the constituency.
-
Helping you get answers when you’ve struggled to receive a reply from a public body.
I cannot assist with:
-
Private disputes such as disagreements with neighbours, landlords, employers, or businesses.
-
Decisions made by courts, tribunals, or the police, or influence ongoing legal cases.
-
Providing legal advice.
-
Issues such as bin collections, parking permits, or planning applications – these fall under local council responsibilities.
-
Private services like bank processes or insurance claims.
-
Matters outside the constituency, including issues for people who are not residents in the Newbury constituency.

FAQs
Do you hold surgeries in the constituency?
I host a regular surgery in my office to discuss individual pieces of casework, which you are welcome to attend by appointment. Please contact my office via email or phone first, as we may be able to assist with your case more quickly.
Should a meeting be necessary, my team will be able to arrange this with you directly.
Can I drop into your office to speak with you?
I offer meetings by appointment only. Please contact my office to arrange a meeting.
How soon can I expect to receive a reply?
Urgent personal casework will normally be responded to within a couple of working days. My team aims to respond to other personal casework within 21 working days. Please note response times may vary during busy periods.
Can you help organise a school visit to Parliament?
All UK Parliament school tour bookings must be made through the official Education Booking Portal. You must register an account on the online booking portal to reserve a space. Please note, these are allocated on a first come first served basis. Register early to avoid disappointment.
If you would like me to come and speak at your school, you can contact my office at lee.dillon.mp@parliament.uk.
How can I organise a visit to my school or organisation?
I am available for visits, events and meetings in the constituency. Send an email to lee.dillon.mp@parliament.uk with details of your request, and I will be in touch as soon as possible.
Aggressive or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated.
My team works hard to ensure your case is dealt with promptly. However, if your case is particularly complex, dependent on third-party agency responses, or received during a busy period, response times may be slower than normal. This is not an excuse for abusive behaviour.
