I recently met with campaigners from Dignity in Dying to receive their petition on the Terminally Ill Adults Bill. While I understand the calls for progress, using the "nuclear option" of the Parliament Act to bypass House of Lords scrutiny is a step too far for such a sensitive matter of conscience.
