We Will Remember Them

Over the past few days, I’ve had the honour of joining local remembrance events across our community.

On Remembrance Sunday, I joined the Newbury parade and service to pay tribute to all those who have served and sacrificed for our country. I also planted a cross in the New Palace Yard Garden at Westminster in memory of the fallen, and today I joined the Thatcham ceremony to lay a wreath on behalf of our community.

These moments of reflection remind us of the immense courage and selflessness of those who came before us, and of our duty to ensure their sacrifices are never forgotten.

We will remember them.
